It was founded on June 21, 2011 in Tijuana, Baja California, and has been distinguished by research, experimentation with new poetics and dialogue with other artistic disciplines. On April 12, 2018, it was legally established as a CENTER FOR INVESTIGATION, PRODUCTION AND DISSEMINATION OF SCENIC ART TEATRO EN EL INCENDIO A.C.
He has had a constant presence, keeping his repertoire on the bill and participating in national and international festivals, such as FESARES 2013, 2014, 2015 and 2016, the October Festival of Baja California 2014, 2016, 2017 and 2018, the International Theater Festival Cabaret, Bogotá, Colombia; the International Festival of Monologues La Paz 2014, the FONCA 100 Young Creators Art Meeting 2016, the Other Latitudes Festival 2017, the 2nd Dance Meeting of Mazatlán, SEBUT 2018 and 2019, CAMP-IN 2019, among others. Winners of the State Show of Baja California and Regional Theater Show of the Northwest in 2016. Winners of the State Theater Show 2017. Participant in the National Theater Show 2014, 2015, 2016 and 2018 with the works Vértice-Wayak, El patético god with prosthetics, Standard: device to be a normal person and Cielito Sweet, respectively. He was benefited by the Baja California Artistic Creation and Development Encouragement Program in the category of Artistic Groups 2013 and 2018; and for the National School Theater Program 2017-18. Through the Women's Institute, the PAIMEF program and Indesol, they carried out community projects that included the creation of a theater play and a state tour in 2017, 2018 and 2019. She has developed her own language for the scene, and has shared her findings with the LETALE: Experimental Laboratory of Acting Techniques and Scenic Language; the LEMOV Laboratory in Motion; the Theater Workshop with Children; Theater Crew, in this last project free theater classes are given to vulnerable communities; among other pedagogical projects.
Winner of the Tespis Award for Best Staging at the 2014 Baja California State Performing Arts Festival for La Mama, Cabaret; and the Special Spectator Award in the 2015 edition for El patético dios con prosthesis, Winner of the Tespis Award to Gilberto Corrales for Best Direction for Standard: device to be a normal person in the 2016 edition of the same festival.
Currently, the group is a beneficiary of the Program for Supporting Professional Artistic Groups of Performing Arts "Mexico on Stage" by the National Fund for Culture and the Arts.
